ZX Spectrum 7805 5V Voltage Regulator Replacement
Drop in replacement for the 7805 1A regulator used on the ZX spectrum.
It is 70-90% efficient it removes the need for the heat sink usually used on most 8 bit computers.
1980’s computer power supplies were often only 40% efficient they ran hot and often broke down.
Please ensure that there is clearance between the spectrum board and this regulator to avoid short circuiting either part or insert an insulator between them
